Lyndon Owens Obituary

On Sunday, January 3, 2010, Lyndon E. Owens, of Springdale, Md., departed this life. She was the loving wife of the late Gilbert Owens; devoted mother of Wayne (Imelda); grandmother of Destanye and Imari; and daughter of the late Frank and Lonnie Broady. She is also survived by three brothers and five sisters, Lucille B. Lee, the Rev. Ulas (Delois) Broady, Mary B. Brown, Laura B. (Ben) Robinson, Richard H. Broady, Agnes B. Brown, Annie (William) Gravely and the Rev. Braxton (Cecelia) Broady; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2010, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, 7415 Buchanan St., Landover Hills, Md. 20784. The interment will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Ascension Lutheran Church Music Department.
