I Worked with Tommy at SFCS for the 7 years I was there. I remember he had a shamrock plant on his desk. I think that was the first time I had seen a plant on a man's desk! He was the sweetest person & always had a smile for me. I don't know what kind of dogs his were, but as a dog lover myself I know his love for them. I was shocked that he is gone, but I will remember him fondly forever. I am glad to have know him...

My thoughts rest with all of Tommy's family and friends. I have not seen him since Northside, but I always remember him coming off the wrestling mat as a smiling victor. His warmth and humor brought the team together, an experience I'll always remember. Thanks Tommy.

Pat,
May God bring you peace in your time of grief and may a lifetime of memories bring you comfort. Tommy and I work together a number of years ago at G.J. Hopkins and I always thought of him as a friend. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it. We have all lost a special person.

My deepest sympathies to Tommy's family and friends. Even though I haven't seen him since a Northside Class Reunion in the '70s, I remember what fun times we all had in high school and what a great laugh Tommy had. I've "kept up" with him in recent years through my emails with anaother classmate, Arthur Foley, so I do feel like it really hasn't been over 30 years since I saw him. He will be missed.

Pat...the PBGV community mourns the loss of one of it's finest gentlemen. No words are really adequate at this time...but we pray for your strength and courage. To have such a wonderful life with such a beloved partner was a blessing and I pray in time your memories will be overabundant....and you will smile again.

What a wonderful man Tommy was, we met Tommy when we were at a hunt in Concord, NC. He suggested that we show our PBGV, Jessie in Salem and it was like he knew us forever. We last saw him at the agility trial and show in November where we spent time discussing the best way to keep our Peebie's attention in the agility ring. Our deepest sympathies to Pat, we are so sorry for your loss.

When I was 7 years old, my family moved to Salem, VA. We lived one house away from Tommy's home. Tommy and I played together as kids; we rode the schoolbus together to Conehurst Elementary, Andrew Lewis Annex and Northside High School. We were in Boy Scouts together for ten years, including, as 15 year-olds, a 21 day trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. We continued to hike and camp together into adulthood. In the late 1990's we toured Alaska together. I will always cherish my memories of our great times together. I loved him as a brother, and I will miss him forever. Rest in peace.
