Dear Emma Jean and Bob, I am so sorry for your loss, but I know Lula is in a better place. She had a long and productive life and she gave so much of herself to her students, friends and family. Lula took me under her wings as a beginning teacher when I substituted at Peterstown High School. She introduced me to the faculty and I ate lunch with her numerous days. My other association with her was through Ruritan and there are so many good memories of visiting in her home with all of the Brown family. May God bless and comfort all of you.
