Brenda,

I had the honor and privelidge to work with Ron while he was a member of the Metropolitan Police Department. In fact, I rode my first shift with him in Scout 174 in 1982 while we both were assigned to the Seventh Police District. His sense of duty, commitment and dedication are attributes that he shared with me daily that formed the basis of my career. Our condolenses to you and your family on your loss and you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Please accept condolences from the VATRO group in Virginia. Many of us knew Ron from working the towing arena with him over the years. He was always a gentleman and had a very winning and gracious personality. He will be missed.

Brenda,

I worked with Ronnie @ 7D for several years prior to his retirement. He was a great police officer and willing to help his fellow officers in any way necessary. Quite the "jokester," we had a great time during our "Scooter Tact" days...

I am extremely sad to hear of his passing. I do know that he loved you and his family dearly. God bless his soul and your family.

I have been a neighbor of Ron and Brenda Mack for a number of years. They felt like part of my family! When I think of Ron, I think of a strong, honest, hard-working family man. No task was too small, he was always there to help anyone at anytime! Ron loved his family more than life itself, and it showed! People like Ron are hard to find in this life, and I feel blessed just to have known him! He was such an inspiration to everyone! He worked so hard fighting a cruel disease and I never heard him complain. He was a well loved man and will be greatly missed! He will remain in our hearts!
