Much heartfelt sympathy to the family of Barbara. I had only communicated a short time with her, but we had found we were distantly related. She helped me so much in researching my Floyd roots, I have kept all messages from her. Someday soon, my mom, daughter and I will be back there to continue our search. Much love.

Barb...I will always miss you and your kindness...Over the years, you always were there when I hit the brick walls of my ancestors. Surely the Lord has a place for you and I am positive you will continue helping the descendants of Floyd County on the other side of the vail.

To the family,
You have my sympathy in the loss of your mother. I know that she was a special person by the care and attention that her family gave her while she was a patient in the Vascular ICU. My mother was also a patient there, having surgery the same day as your mother, and then passing within hours of each other. I'll always remember two of Mrs. Stanley's children coming to check on me within hours of their own mother's passing. My mother was also passing at that very time. Thank you for your compassion to me--it meant so much. If I can be of any help, please let me know. I live within walking distance to your mother's home. Again, each of you have my deepest sympathy.

Unfortunately I never met Barb in person. Since she was always so gracious and unselfish in sharing information about our mutual Peters line, I asked every so often. She will truly be missed. My sympathy goes out to her family.

To the family of Maxime...My mother, Clara Louise Moore Robinette, was a cousin of Maxime's. She has told me stories of you and your family when she was small. I have brought her and my Aunt Flora up to visit your Mom and Dad several times. Mom would love to hear from any of you. Maxine was my favorite aunt. Although I was separated from my family at the age of 6 I remember having a great time at her house each time I was there. God's blessing and comfort to Grandma Millie, all my cousins and their family and to Dad.

Our world became a little dimmer with Barb's passing. She is in heaven talking to all who have gone on before us. I valued her friendship, both in person and on the Floyd list. I am so sorry to hear of Barbara's passing, but she is in a much better place free of her pain and suffering with our Lord Jesus Christ. Family. One word that explains Maxine's legacy and the long hours she spent in grave yards, Virginia Room, interviewing family members, sending letters, etc. Just to leave a complete explantation of where our family began and where our family went and where our family is going.
