Jack was filled with compassion and honesty. In my time of trial these were Jack's email words to me...may you find comfort in them as I did. "I think it is important to rely heavily on your faith and those people around you who support you during this time. I'm glad you found comfort in your Bishop's words."

You are in my prayers, may your loss be softened...Kate

Bobbie, Know that from your youth and throughout adulthood you were Jack's main strength and support. No one knew Jack like you did. You put your own education on hold so that Jack could persue his dream, and in the process you gave him his two beautiful daughters to cherish. They say behind every great man is a woman, You were indeed that. May God bless you , Amanda, and Mary with the Peace and Love that you so deserve. In my prayers, Aunt,Kay

I was a year behind Jack in law school and toiled under him on Law Review. Jack and I butted heads a few times and I respected him for his plain-spoken genuineness. After law school, I worked with him on bar-related service projects and had a chance to get to know Jack on a more personal level. We shared a love of mountain biking, mountain climbing and backpacking. The world is a lesser place without him. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

Jack was a great lawyer and will be missed by all. Even though I only know him from defending my brother-in-law, I grew to think of him as a friend and a honest man trying to help those around him. For the last year I spoke to Jack on a weekly basis. He always had a great sense of humor and made you feel a ease. I thank him with all my heart for all he done for our family. I recently spoke to Jack on the phone and he had just been giving the plea he had asked for regarding by brother-in-law and told me that he was so excited and that he was "floating on cloud nine." I will always think of him as friend. I pray for comfort of his family and friends. My sincere condolences. Sincerely, Kelly Schirado and family

To My Dearest Friend Jack, The one who so deligently taught me "right is right" and to never lose sight of such. Our conversations were sometimes so difficult for me and somehow with your tenacity, fight and understanding you made everything alright. We were so much alike, I often felt we were brother's more so than associates. From the first day I met you, I knew by your one-liner you were the one I was in search for to defend my case. On numerous occasions we talked of our families and how important they were to us. I know how much Hannah, your family and all those at work meant to you. I will strive too the end to make you proud and I will "hold my head high" as you so many times suggested. Until we meet again my friend, take care and know you made a huge difference in mine and many others lives.

Love always,

Todd

I worked with Jack at MC2B and in the few short years that I came to know him, he really made a lasting impression on me. He was a great friend, a loving father and caring husband. His passion for law was both admirable and sincere. I have already missed our times of playing pool & discussing music, camping and hiking. I will greatly miss Jack. Both Jack & his family will be in my thoughts throughout this very difficult time. May you be peaceful Jack.

Amanda and Mary, I first met your dad when he was still in law school and clerked with Snow, Christensen. Mary you were about to be born! I liked him from the moment I met him! I found him to be bright, a hard worker, and the owner of a good sense of humor. He also was very proud of his girls. My love goes to both of you and to your mom. Please know that your dad touched many lives and he will be missed.
