I was so terribly saddened to hear of the loss of Packy. I have such great memories of skiing with him as a very young boy at Snowbird. He really did have a contagious passion for things he enjoyed. If there were words I could share to make the pain more tolerable I would say so. Anyhow please know my prayers and love goes out to you all: Ray, Chance, Kenneth, Christian, and the girls.

To the family,my neighbors and dear freinds...I had the privelege to spend time and take this young man skiing,and coach his older brother in soccer,earlier in my life. I am deeply sadden to hear this news.I remember that packy always brought a smile to everyone around him. Dear Thomason Family,
My memories of growing up in Salt Lake City will always include such strong, vivid memories of the many times spent with your family, and in particular, Packy and Christian. Packy must have been 5 or 6 when we first met him and I can still clearly hear in my mind what his voice sounded like when he was that age. He will forever live on in my heart and in the hearts of my family.

I had the fortune of watching Patrick grow from the sweetest child into the most honorable and genuine man I ever met. The world has truly lost one of its best. I loved him like a brother and will miss him forever. My heart is with all of you.

"It is those we live with and love and should know who elude us....Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.
A River Runs Through It
We will etch forever in our memories a good catching day on the Big Blackfoot River, a wonderful meal shared into a late August night, friends and connections across time and distance. We wish you all love and yearn for peace.
