I am very saddened to hear Arvel has left us. My condolences to Kay his lovley wife and to his two sons Brad and Brian. It is through his son Brad that I had the opportunity to meet Arvel and given the chance to spend a beautiful weekend with their family at their cabin in Prescott. I will always remember Arvel as a kind and patient man. May he rest in peace.

Uncle Arvel will truly be missed! He and Kay have been such a wonderful part of my life and the lives of my children. We will miss his big teddy-bear hugs, but we know we will have the opportunity to see him again.

We met Arv and Kay three years ago when we bought a lot next to their cabin in Prescott. Arv was the first one to welcome us to the community and ended up being a wonderful neighbor to us over the years. One of our fondest memories of Arv is that while building our cabin Arv would come over often to entertain us and our crew with his unique sense of humor. We will miss our neighbor.

Arvel was inspirational to me. He let the spirit and gospel change his entire life. I also had the opportunity to work for him and have him kick my butt in the AZ heat.
I watched him change and felt the power of his preisthood recently in my life. I love you Arv
