It takes time to heal when a part of you is torn away. My capacity for love and compassion was passed on as an inheritance at birth, my inability to show it comes from not paying closer attention to him.d2

A Hero to many, a man's man. This is a man most men could only hope to grow up to be like. My prayers are with all of the family and friends that mourn. Dave is home awaiting each of us. So long my favoritest ....

My deepest sympathies to the whole
Flores Family for your great loss.
Dave Flores was a good, honest, compassionate man, hard working Police Officer and my friend.
I worked with him for many years, know his wonderful family well and am proud to have been his friend. There are many accolades that could be said about Dave, however those that knew him are aware of them and the one that matters the most, he is with now.
Bon voyage mi Amigo.

Dave taught me a lot about policing at Southwest and later at the SAPD. He probably saved my life more than once by the experiences that he passed on. A true man's man!
