I've known Clinton for about 15 years no matter what time of day or for what reason his door was always open. I never had the chance to meet my real grandfather but only hope he was even half of what Clinton was. I moved away 6 years ago but always looked forward to that one trip home a year and Clinton, Bruce, Chris and I sitting in the kitchen and picking on each other. It will never be the same, love justin.

I had the good fortune of working alongside Clint while riding motors for the city, and his humor and antics always made the time go by fast. I will miss him greatly as I know all of you will also.

Doris and Family:
Weep for me, I pray, no more.
I finally reached that wonderous shore
Though I loved y'all with all my might,
I couldn't resist that beautiful sight!
The yellows! The blues! What glorious hues!
What God paints no man can imitate!
Just wait 'till you see the pearly gates!
With arms outstreched, I'll be waiting there.
Fear not my loves, I'll forever care!
Today I learned of Clint's passing.
Please accept my deepest and heartfelt sadness for you and yours. Jimmy and I speak fondly of the visits we have had with y'all, and will miss them.
We will not forget the fun and deep discussions we have shared.

Always enjoyed knowing Clint, one of the guys I always liked. Will send a donation in his name to Crossing Borders Ministries of Fabens, Texas. The two ladies who run that organization do great work for Mexican ministers and their congregations. Rest in peace, Clint.

I have known Clint since Jr. High and he is more of a brother than a friend. We had many adventures together. I will miss him and he will always be in my boat while I'm fishing.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Hastings family. I will always remember Clint's towering presence, wittiness, jokes, tall tales ect. I will also remember all of the hunting and fishing expeditions I had with Clint since I was a child. Like the time he helped me out by giving me his boots and coat in a Colorado blizzard. He was a good man who I will always remember fondly. I pray that the Hastings family finds peace with his passing.
