I was heartbroken to hear about Jared. We lost touch after high school, but saw his picture among the classmates we lost during our 20 year reunion. I am so sorry for loss. He was one of the people I was looking forward to talking to that night. I know this has been a long time and I'm sorry to just be hearing this terrible news. He was a wonderful person.

I never knew Jared but his plaque is on the Jordan River trail and I thank him for his service a few times a week, when I run by and touch his plaque. I also notice we share the same birthday.

I served with Jarod at NSWG-3 and he was the the most outgoing and funniest person I had ever met. He was also my neighbor for a while so we became great friends. I see his picture in our hallway at work everyday and he reminds me of what life is all about! He was an amazing person and I think about him all the time. My thoughts and prayers are with his family this Memorial Day weekend!

I had the pleasure of serving with Jared back in 2009 when we attended Airborne School together. He was a great mentor, and an amazing friend. There were many a night where we would sit up and talk about life, and he would always say that he could see great potential in me. I miss him every single day, and I continue to live each and every day for him. He may not have realized what an impact he had on me, but he made me want to be a better person, simply because how amazing of a person he was. My prayers have been with your family since the day that I found out. We will meet again buddy. Miss you a lot.

To jared's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I am happy I had the privilege of spending what little time I had with you guys and Jared. My utmost sympathy and condolences to Jared's family Sam, Keno and Marie. I did not have the honor of meeting Jared, but got to know of him through my daughter's stories. They remained good friends and spoke quite often, upto the day of the accident. He was very generous and kindhearted. We drove from Arizona to attend his memorial services at Lake Hills and Redwood Mortuary and to pay respect to a fallen hero and beloved friend. Thank you Jared for your service and sacrifice. Words cannot bring back Jared, but I hope and pray that you find Peace and Comfort in God's Everlasting Love and know that Jared is in a safe place.
