Jason Moski's 3-year-old daughter has had a hard time accepting her father's death. The girl has clung to the belief that he will one day return home "because he promised her he would," said neighbor Adelle McKenna. Moski, 24, of Blackville, S.C., was killed Feb. 25 when an explosive detonated near his patrol in Taji. He was based at Fort Riley. Moski worked at a manufacturing plant before he enlisted in the Army in August 2002. He was deployed to Iraq in February. Moski, a 1999 high school graduate, had left a good impression on his teachers. He was a drummer who also played football. "He was just an overall good kid," his teacher Phyllis Gantt said. "All of us remember him fondly." He is also survived by his wife, Holly.

Not sure what to say?

Wow Jason! I can't believe it's been almost 20 years since you went to be with the Lord. God gained such an awesome spirit!!! Thank you for helping Regina move her furniture at Charles Schwab and just generally brightening all our days with your goofy sense of humor. Knowing you, you're probably making God and several Angels bust a gut laughing! We miss you!!

Hello,

We apologize for being so late in expressing our deepest condolences to you and your family. We want you to know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of Jason L. Moski US Army Specialist.

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know...
