Not sure what to say?

10 years, but it still hurts like yesterday. Augie and his beautiful light & goodness will always be remembered. We lift up him and his family in prayer.

To the Schroeder family:
I just want you to know we all remember Augie very well.. I was just thinking of him today, in fact. I was telling soemone about him and even after all of these years, I become choked up and really couldn't talk any more. He was such a great kid. I remember driving him on the many Boyscout camping trips and the fun he had at those times. He will always be remembered..

Bill Hildebrand.... (Troop 3), Maplewood

Remembering my friend everyday & all year round

Me and my family want to send all are respect to you. Our thoughts and prayers with the family. We appreciate everything that you have sacrifice for your country . You will never be forgotten

Remembering your sacrifice.

…It still saddens me to know of the loss of Augie.
When I last saw him he was just a quiet good kid and one of the many who had signed up to play Pop Warner football for the Maplewood/South Orange Packers and who I had the privilege to coach. That was over 20 years ago, but his positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good spirited demeanor still resonates in my memory …(he was just that kind of a kid:-)). My prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to the Schroder family,...

Hey Augie. All missing you here....I'm doing a project to honor veterans.I'm honoring you buddy. Missing you friend.

To the family and friends of Lance Cpl. Edward A. Schroeder:
Always remembering Edward. "Some gave all."

To the family of Augie,

I can still remember riding with him during the summer of 2000 in an ambulance of the South Orange Rescue Squad en route to a emergency and working at the South Orange pool. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
