Jair Garcia Obituary

Hello,

We wanted to let you know that we will be honoring and remembering your loved one this holiday season. We are sending Care Packages to our deployed troops in his name. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of Jair DeJesus Garcia US Army Private.

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, our family, friends and many others who support our mission.

Today I ran a four-mile race in East Northport NY entitled "I did the Grid" to honor fallen veterans. PV2 Jair Garcia's name was on my race bib. Please accept my deepest condolences and know he is not forgotten.

In memory & honor of Jair Garcia. He will always remain indebted to him for his service & sacrifice.

Happy 4th of July my so very handsome husband,I think of you and miss every single day.till we meet again.

Today you would have turned 33 years old, instead it has been 3 years, 7 months, and 3 days since I last heard your voice. As we continue mourning today we celebrate your life, Happy birthday, beloved.

I miss you so much babe,I think of you everyday.I will allways love you and the time we had together.wait for me sweetheart.

Today I really missed you.

miss you playing the piano.I miss so many things about you.even though I moved on I can never ever forget you,you were such a big part of my life.I will think of you every day of my life until we meet again.

Thinking about you. i've been having dreams of you, when you were small. I hate the holidays, was the only time of the year that i looked forward to going to Calif, to see my familiy, no i just don't want to go. There is not a day i don't think of you Jair. i remeber when you came to florida to stay with me. We built that gazibo together. Susan want's to rebuild it with cast stone, and i want to leave it alone. you and i built it, whith scrap wood we brought from work. I ve been maintaing it but she wants something better. what better then something you helped me build. The garden patch you build for onicka is still there. I put astone we brought from Georga on your boot camp graduation, it sits there as a reminder. you looked so pround that was the last time i saw you. I still have the shirt you gave me, i wear every time i go and vote and for your birthday. I miss you lil Bro.

If pain is weekness leaving the body. you are my only weekness. Your death has made me stronger, but i still pain inside.

Day like today makes me proud to be an American, but it also makes me sad, I know you are in a better place, looking upon us all. as this day goes by, and people look at fire works, a proclame America's freedom. We know for a fact that it comes at a cost. Although, you are not amoge us any more, you are always in our hearts and minds, and on a day like this you gave your life, but as your family, we gave up a son, a father , a brother, a nephew, and a great friend.
