Robert L. Love Obituary

Ssgt. Love, I didn't know you. But a friend of mine served with you and was there with you on that fateful day in Ramadi. He spoke very highly of you and always presented you as a man of intergrity. On this 13th anniversary of 9/11, my thoughts and prayers are with those who have served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our beloved country. May you forever rest in peace, knowing that you served us well! May your family and loved ones find peace and comfort on this day of rememberance. Thank you for your service.

My brother....oh how much I really, REALLY miss you. It seems just like it was yesterday and it hurts even more now. So much have changed....my life has not been the same.

Ssgt. Love, I think about you and miss you everyday. It's still hard to grasp all that happened. But, I know you are pain free. I LOVE you brother in arms.

It's almost six years now, since you've been gone and it hasn't gotten any easier...the pain of losing you my dear brother still lingers as it did the first day that I learned of your death. Oh how I wish you were here with me, but I know you are better off in the land of "NO SUFFERING"....I just choose to look at this as "God needed a no limit soldier" and He chose you. I love you Brother!!!!

Robert you are gone but not forgotten; a grateful country remembers you. Your legacy still lives in your beatiful family. Thank you for your service and love for our country.

Jr..it's been almost two years and it seems like it was just yesterday.

I'm trying to be the strong one you always thought I was, but its hard being strong when a piece of your heart is gone.

I'm sure you and Treal are looking out for us and I love you both so, so, so much.

I always thought I would be the first to go so I wouldn't have to endure the pain of losing one of you and now two of you are gone...but one day, we'll meet again and we will NEVER EVER have to say good-bye.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON (KIA on 07/06/07) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

Hey Robert, I wasn't as close to u as I was to ur sister but I remember u very well! U were always the quiet soft-spoken brother of the bunch and u turned into a very handsome goal oriented man. It broke my heart when I found out that u were taken from us so early. I only hope that u will become a special angel for your family and those who loved and still loves u. Be at Peace...
