Please know that your sacrifice will not be forgotten. On Saturday May 23 I was honored to read the names of Tennessee's fallen in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars at a ceremony in Washington DC at the WWII Memorial. Nathan Bailey is remembered.

It is difficult to know what to say since I want to express my sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Staff Sgt Bailey. Please know that your loved one is not forgotten. I wish everyone impacted by this tragic loss strength and peace. I hope that Staff Sgt Bailey knew that there are people who respect his great courage in serving as a member of the US military. Although I did not know him, I know that he must have been a very special person to be willing to do something that most Americans will never have to experience, and for that we can never say thank you enough.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Bailey family and friends in the loss of Nathan. I did not know Nathan , but my heart is broken and I am saddened for your loss of such a fine young person and hero. May God bring you peace in your heart as you reflect on all the wonderful memories you hold so close. Please know that you are in my heart and prayers. My heart was touched by the many wonderful/beautiful things written about you.Nathan it has been over 4 years since you were taken and please know that you are my hero and you will NEVER be forgotten.

I am Deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Staff Sgt. Nathan J. Bailey, three years ago today.
May Nathan rest safely in the Loving Care of God and may the Peace of the Lord continue to be with the Bailey family.
There will never be enough ways to humbly thank these heroes for their Sacrifices, my brother among them. KIA~Vietnam, 1967.
For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
