It's been twenty years since I met Lizbeth in Iraq in the back of an Army helicopter. I was the Army flight medic who picked her up from the battalion aid station and transported her to Tikrit. I want everyone who knew her, family, friends, fellow soldiers, that my crew and I did everything we could for her. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about her.

I ran this morning in memory of two fallen soldiers with my battalion, one being SGT. Lizbeth Robles and I just wanted to extend my sympathies to her family and let them know her memory and sacrifice will never be forgotten. It was nice to get an appreciation for her life and career when I returned from the run. May You Rest In Peace SGT. Robles and watch down on us from heaven. Thank you for your service.

I was on duty when we received the 9 line of a humvee rollover. Spc Robles and her passengers came in. The doctors took her in for care and were keeping close watch on her till she was stabilized to go to Landstuhl Hospital in Germany. She was the first female soldier I had seen injured while I was there. I stayed by her side praying, talking to her and cleaning her up. I even called home by DSN so my mom could start a pray circle. My 12 hour shift ended and I stayed with her till I was awoken by my OIC. I had fallen asleep holding her hand. He told me the chopper was coming to take her and that I should go eat and get some sleep. I was told later she had passed after she had left our CSH. That was the first time I cried there.
Fast forward to 2014 and I was serving in Honduras with PRNG. I asked one of the soldiers if they knew Lisbeth and they did not, but they had mentioned me to the next group of PRNG coming in to replace them. One of the new soldiers came up to me because they saw my name tag and said that their families were neighbors. It is a small world.
I honor SPC Robles and her fellow soldier SGT Julio Negron every Memorial Day with my family and friends. May they rest in peace.

Even though I never met Lizbeth Robles, I purchased a full size flag with her name on a dog tag hanging from it and am honoring her this Memorial Day 5/28/2018 by flying it proudly in my front yard in Bridgeton, Mo (near St. Louis Lambert Airport). Thank you so much for keeping me free to be able to write this in her honor. There was an organization showing hundreds of American Flags in Forest Part and I purchased your flag. God Bless you.
To her family and friends, I will also keep her memory alive .

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Robles Family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to troops in Afghanistan this week and we'll be dedicating several of these to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and the hometown of Lizbeth Robles US Army Specialist. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

To the family and friends of Spc. Lizbeth Robles:
It has truly been my honor to sign Lizbeth's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Lizbeth will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.
REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

I spent a lot of time with Robles we were in basic training together then we went to fort hood and went to 46th chemical company. Robles and a bunch of us would always go out to a local club off base. I will always remember Robles, she would always make a joke out of any situation. I LOVE YOU LIZBETH!!!!!

I was very close to Lizbeth. We were roomates in Korea and kept in touch while I was in Ft. Hood. She was such a real person, never afraid to just be herself and a great friend. Lizbeth visited me in December before she went to Iraq and I was able to show her a little of my town and she met my family. The plan was for me to meet all of you when she got back. I hope someday I will be able to meet you in person to tell you how sorry I am and to let you know that I thought your daughter was a great person and so fun to be around. My thoughts are always with you.

To the family of Lizbeth I send my prayers to you. I had the pleasure of meeting Liz in Korea. She happened to be my roommate while assigned to the welcome center. Liz spoke to me when no one else did. We also had the oppourtunity to see one another while assigned to 702d MSB, Camp Casey, Korea. She was a confidant and friend. I am honored to have met her. I had the pleasure of seeing her for the first time in 2 years in 2004 when she was assigned to Ft. Carson. I can remember talking to her at the PX and agreeing that we would keep in touch with one another. Liz you will be missed, and I am blessed to have known you.Thank you for being you. I know you are smiling..........
