2nd favorite memory is when we hung out at the Zoo and you found a red wagon and you asked me if I would like a ride lol I jumped in and it was like I had my own private tour.Even more fun was when you said it's my turn lol and I could hardly pull it. I think I laughed the most that day and you just laughed AT me lol (Don't know what happened to the wagon lol
I miss you but missed you yesterday differently. I spoke to my North Coast Church life group and one of the ladies knew who you were and it made me so proud to talk about you and remember what you did to save lives that day. You were a hero before you ever became a Marine. I love you.

My condolences for your loss. I recall from the first time I met you, when we had a drill competition in high school. I knew you would always be in my heart. That little smile you would give and just how I could never say no because you were just so charming. Many memories but my favorite was when we were at Lake Texoma looking up at the stars till this day I always remember you and talk to you the beat will never fade. I will love you forever your name is written in my heart.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Aguirre Family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and we'll be dedicating several of these to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and the hometown of Anthony Aguirre US Marine Lance Corporal. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

I had the Honor of meeting him as we flew from Houston to San Diego on August 2005 and being in the same platoon 1023 in Bootcamp. He was a great guy and as a Marine it hurts to see a brother leave. Unfortunately freedom comes with these kind of things. You will never be forgotten. SEMPER FI Brother

hey Anthony, it seems like everything is going down hill around here and I've been meaning to take a trip home soon to see everyone. I wish you were around so I could stop and visit and catch up since the last time I got to see you, but I may visit you anyway. Things got crazy with the hurricane, alot of trees down out there and flooding. Hopefully everyone from home made it ok, I haven't heard otherwise.
I hung the picture I found from kindergarten on my wall and every time I look at it I laugh. So much has changed since then. I still remember all the times you got me into trouble at school, it doesn't seem like it was all that long ago. I miss you.

I wish to quote Kris Klop who so accurately said, “We can never fully repay the debt of our proud nation to those who have laid down their lives for our country. The best we can do is honor their memory; ensure that their sacrifice is not in vain. The security of our nation depends on the men and women who are willing to sacrifice their safety, and possibly their lives, to protect the freedoms the rest of us enjoy. I am humbled, honored, saddened, and proud...”

Anthony you were a great guy, I knew you since you were very small & your death brought back to me so many memories & people. I remember when you told me you were wanting to join the military that I told you to go "big" & to go for the Marines, you told me that you wanted to that it had always been your dream. I'm so glad that I was always there to listen to your problems when you were down. I've had a baby now & I have named him Anthony in memory of a great friend. I'm sad because I know your family has suffered but I know you would be happy that the family is together. To your mother Leticia Loa, now that I am a mother I can't even imagine how hard it is to loose a son. My prayers are with you. May god bless you!

August 15, 2007

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.

Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.

I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

To All Parents
“I’ll lend you for a little time a child of Mine,” He said.
“For you to love the While he lives and mourn for when he’s dead.
It may be six or seven years, or 22 or three,
But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?
He’ll bring his charms to gladden you, and shall his stay be brief.
You’ll have his lovely memories as solace and relief.
“I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return,
But there are some lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.
I’ve looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true
And from the throngs that crowd life’s lanes I have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to take him back again?”
For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we’ll run.
We’ll shelter him with tenderness, we’ll love him while we may
And for the happiness we’ve known forever grateful stay;
But shall the angels call for him much sooner than we’ve planned.
We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.”

We are sorry it took us so long to post an entry for your family member. We are trying to catch up after locating this website. God Bless Legacy.com for allowing us to honor these heros.

We can't imagine what you have been going through since being notified of the death of your young Warrior. The Military and families all over the USA and world are grieving with you and praying for you. What a very brave individual you have in your family that would give up a life for their homeland and its people so they can remain free. Your Freedom Fighter has served the Country above and beyond the call of duty, let no one ever tell you different. With the mission now completed your Warrior has been redeployed to Heaven to sit on the right hand of the Supreme Commander and Chief. The Father above has Anthony in his arms and will give him peace as well as eventually easing your pain and suffering. God speed to you and Lance Cpl. Anthony Aguirre, our HERO.
