Joan Burns Obituary
GREER, SC-- Rita Joan Allen Burns, 62, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010.
A native of Calhoun Falls, daughter of the late Joseph S. and Mamie Nell Fain Allen, she was a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Carroll Burns of the home; two daughters, Christie B. Clayton of Reidville and Rachel B. Child of the home; a son, Kendal C. Burns of Greer; two sisters, Christine Powell of Lyman and Sandra Sims of Greer; and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Burns was predeceased by one sister, Sarah Parker.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 30, 2010 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Ray Hatcher. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.

Dear Bosco, Christie, Rachel, Kendal and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. May God's grace and love be ever near and dear to you as you grieve the loss of your loved one. May his constant presence be felt by you during these hours and may you know he is with you to comfort and help you know that he loves you and wants you to let him comfort you as only he can.
