Dear Mrs. Forbes, Mark, Matt, Cindy and Amy. I was so sorry to hear of your husband/dads passing. I have been reflecting back on the years when we were kids and our families spent a lot of time at eachothers houses on Saturday nites, or for BBQ's and swimming and camping etc. Our families were so very close growing up and ofcourse our parents friendships still continued when it brought them all to N.C. I always felt that Mr. Forbes, A.K.A Fuzzy, was such a wonderful man who was outgoing and generous and loved to have a good time and who was a great friend to my Dad and Mom. He will be missed so much. I will treasure the memories always and keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless you all.
Love, xoxo

“Kenny”
What do you call a man who is honest and sincere
One who is gentle and caring, and holds his family dear
A man who is chivalrous and ever so polite
Who speaks so softly, but likes to set things right
What should we call a man who is both courageous and strong
A man who wants to right every possible wrong
One whose heart is as big as all the sky
An Air Force Veteran and an all 'round good guy
What can we call a man who is a perfectionist—maybe even a little OCD
A man who gives his all to everything he does, no matter what it be
One who loves to have a good time and leave you with a smile
A man who loves to throw a party in his own special style
What can you call a man whose orneriness sneaks out at the corners of a stifled grin
Who takes on massive adversity and simply takes it on the chin
A man who has looked destiny squarely in the eyes, and didn't even blink
Who lived every possible moment with those who love him, right down to the brink
What can you possibly call a man of this calibre, of such courageous grace
We certainly need more of his kind in this complicated human race
A name for him, I guess there could be many
But for me, I shall simply call him “Kenny”
RIP Kenny. The light of the world will be a little darker without you.
