Norah worked at FSU with David C. White for many years, efficiently running his lab, office, students, postdocs, medical students, and typing his manuscripts which came out error free in spite of his poor spelling and impossible penmanship. She and Bill were valued friends to the present. She wrote me a lovely letter after David’s auto accident October 25 which he did not survive. Nora had a truly beautiful spirit, kind, generous, gracious, but could not be pushed around. Her passing leaves us all poorer.

I am a friend of Norah's son, Richard and his wife, Susan. Richard has always spoken so fondly of his family, and I know he would not be the beautiful person he is if not for his strong and courageous mother. I know she will be very much missed, and will live on in the hearts of her family. Long may she shine!

I had the pleasure of knowing Bill and Norah for many years. We attended Saint Paul's together almost from the beginning. Norah was a lovely, wonderful lady and had many close and caring friends. I know she will be missed by all of her family and friends alike.
