Minnie Sullivan Obituary

Minnie Elneeda Pitts Sullian

Minnie Elneeda Pitts Sullivan, age 89 passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in Tallahassee, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the Ebenezer church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mrs. Sullivan was a native of Calhoun County Florida and had lived in Mayo and Taylor County Florida before moving to Jefferson County in 1949. She was a past member of the American Business Women's Association. She loved to travel, cook, gaming, read and most of all spending time with her family. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was very active in the church.

Mrs. Sullivan is survived by one daughter Geraldine (William) Thigpen of Lamont; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her husband Joe Sullivan; one son Billy Sullivan; one daughter Jonita Lamar and one grandson Jeff McDonald.
