Mr. Thompson was a wonderful man. I met him when I was only three when he helped my mom by giving her a job and a place to live. He was always kind to my brother and me when we visited the office. He always made sure we had a gift when it came to birthdays and holidays when money was tight. And he made the best hushpuppies that I have ever tasted. He will be greatly missed. I pray for continued peace and strength to all his family in this time of loss.
