I have known Walter since 1935 when we both enrolled at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. For the next 3 years we sat side by side in classes as both our names began with B. Walter left Pratt after 3 years but I remained for my fourth year to earn my engineering degree. Although Walter left Pratt and I graduated,my wife and I continued to keep in touch with Helen and Walter. In 1990 when we moved to our home in Florida we knew Helen and Walter lived in Florida about 1 hour away. We visited them often and played golf and had lunch together until Helen's passing. Helen was a very good golfer. Our friendship with Walter continued with lunch, no golf, at his residence in The Lakes of Pointe West. Walter would keep in touch almost daily by sending a joke or pun via his computer. Now Walter's passing ends our long friendship that started in 1935, seventy one years ago. Please convey our condolences to the Bullock family.
