Harriet LaFleur Obituary

Harriet (Baker) LaFleur passed away on April 4, 2008.

She was born on January 6, 1916 to Teake and Theresa (Postma) Baker. She was pre-deceased in death by her husband, Sidney A. LaFleur; her son, Allen LaFleur; two grandsons, Thomas Prior and Joseph LaFleur; and four brothers and three sisters.

She leaves two daughters, Thelma and her husband Paul Schutt of Grand Rapids, MI and Norma and her husband James Osterhouse of Holland, MI; one sister, Catherine Bangma of Whitinsville; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Harriet was active in the Dorcus Society and the Ladies Guild of the Fairlawn Christian Reformed Church where she was a member.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 10 AM in the Fairlawn Christian Reformed Church, 305 Goldthwaithe Rd., Whitinsville. The Rev. James Osterhouse and the Rev. Raymond Coffey will be officiating.

Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Linwood Ave., Whitinsville, MA

Visiting hours will be on Tues. April 8, 2008 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 480 Church St., Whitinsville, MA 01588.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Harriet's memory may be made to the Whitinsville Retirement Society, 10 Chestnut St., Whitinsville, MA 01588 or to the Whitinsville Christian School, 279 Linwood Ave., Whitinsville, MA 01588.
