Rita Rowe Obituary

Rita M. (Archambeault) Rowe, 90, of Main Street, died Monday, April 21, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Richard A. Rowe of North Oxford, who died in 1993. She is survived by a son, Richard K. Rowe of North Oxford; two daughters, Carol Condrate of Worcester and Nancy Condrate of Charlton; her sisters-in-law, Edith Courville and Ella Fallon, both of Worcester; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ovila "Joe" Archambeault and Francis Archambeault; and a grandson, Paul R. Gillies of Worcester, who died in 1991. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Ovila and Matilda (Poutre) Archambeault, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford in 1955.

Mrs. Rowe worked at Worcester Awning Company in Worcester many years ago. She was a member of St. Ann 's Church in North Oxford.

A funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Thursday, April 24, 2008, from 10:00 – 11:15 a.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann 's Church, P.O. Box 488, North Oxford, MA 01537.
