Rita O'Gorman Obituary
Her husband Thomas H. O'Gorman died in 1990. She leaves a son John T. O'Gorman, a daughter Mary R. Moran and her husband James Moran, all of Worcester, three grandchildren, Rita Moran, Mary Losapio and John P. O'Gorman, two great-grandchildren, Christopher and James Greiman, nieces and nephews. Her six siblings, Jeanette, Dora, Rose, Teresa, Charles and Francis, predeceased her.
Rita was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles and Camille (DeLuca) Santo. She attended Worcester Public Schools and graduated from the Clarke School for the Deaf in Northampton.
She worked many years for the Sprague Electric Co., before retiring. Previously, she was a seamstress for Worcester area clothing companies. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish.
She enjoyed gardening, but most of all she loved being with her family.
Rita's family wishes to thank the staff at Holy Trinity Nursing Center for the wonderful care she received.
There will be a calling hour Saturday, April 26 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Residents Activity Fund, 300 Barber Ave., Worcester 01606.

Aunt Mary, Uncle Jim, Rita, Mary, Jeff and Tony, Jimmy, Christopher and Mary's brfother John.
We ae so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful woman your Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother was. I have known her for years and had the most respect for her and I always enjoyed talking with her.
She exuded a certain passion for life that I can only say has definately passed on to her children and grandchildren.
May each of you find comfort in the love that you all shared with her...and that you share with each other.
