William Earley Obituary

William P. Earley, Jr., 79, of Ware Point Rd., died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at his home.

He leaves one son, William M. Early of Wareham; two daughters, Martha E. Conant of Lynnfield and Cristina Sear of La Jolla, CA and two grandchildren, Joshua T. Earley and Matthew T. Earley. He was born in Worcester son of the late William P. and Leona (Bacuinka) Earley and has lived in West Brookfield for 30 years.

Mr. Earley was a chemical engineer for 60 years working for Worcester Gas and then for Riley Stoker of Worcester where he continued to work as a adviser after retiring.

He was a very active member and past president of the Quaboag Historical Society in West Brookfield and a member of the Association of Chemical Engineers Society. He was a former member and past chairman of the West Brookfield Advisory Board and was active with the annual Asparagus and Flower Heritage Festival.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Quaboag Historical Society, P. O. Box 635, West Brookfield, MA 01585. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is directing arrangements.
