Teri, Dave, "Mrs. Lindy" and Wayne,
I am absolutely heartsick to hear of Lindy's passing, and also ashamed that I did not get over to give him my best after I learned he had cancer. He was one of the kindest souls that I have ever known, always willing to take the time to say hello and chat. He will be missed greatly, and I doubt that I will ever be able to go to a train show without thinking of him. Rest in peace, my friend.

Dave, even though I only had the pleasure of knowing your dad for the nine yrs. I've been at WPI his warmth and personality made it feel a lot longer. I talked with Lindy during some rough times that I had and he was always willing to listen and offer his consolations and advice. This meant alot to me. I'll never forget your dad. It was an honor to be his friend. God Bless you all.

Hi Pa
I really hope that you being up there that you can read this. I just really want to say sorry for not being able to come and see you the last two months...It has been really hard for me. Even though me and Pete aren't together anymore you were like my real own grandfather. You were the closest and the person that I would say to everyone was my grandfather. I loved you so much Pa!!! It really wasn't your time to go and I hate that god had to take you so soon cause knowing you for five years has not been enough. No matter when I saw you and no matter what the circumstances were you always made me laugh or smile. Your hugs were like no other, your laugh was like no other, your yard was the most beautiful that I have ever seen, and the LOVE that you had for the people that you cared for (which was pretty much everyone) was the greatest. I have never seen such love before but I can tell you that I loved you just as much as anyone. I will always think of you as my grandfather. I love you so much Pa. Rest in peace.
Love,
Jasmin

My sincerest condolences to the Lindberg family.
Although it has been many years since I have seen Harold, I would often remember when he got his 56 Chevy. The thought of the smile on his face that day when he drove into the Mobil has always brought a smile to me. Harold was a great guy and a true gentleman. He will be missed by many whose lives he touched.

It is with much sincerity that I will be forever touched by the love and affection from Lindy and his wonderful family as we prepared him for his final journey to a resting place free from pain. Over the past several weeks, I learned so much about the man with the contagious smile I was caring for. We talked about tips on gardening, birds and of course the trains! Certain people come into your life and go ... but Lindy's tender touch will be forever in my heart. Love to you all, Lexa

I was sadden when I read that Harold had passed away. We graduated the same year from Leicester High School {class of 1961}. Didn't know him well, but said "hi" as we passed in the hall. There'll be one less smiling face @ our 50th class reunion. Sending my condolences to the Lindberg family.

Lindy will always be remembered in our home by our family - he came by one Saturday afternoon along with Bob Pepin, with nothing better to do than enrich our lives with the gift of an electric train set that my grandchildren absolutely love. It will be a lesson taught to them of love and graciousness over the coming years - which is exactly the kind of legacy that anyone could ever hope for. Lindy - we will miss you, but your friendship and legacy will forever live on in our family. Thank you so much.
