Manuel Bairos Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Maria F. (Figueiredo) Bairos of Hudson. He was born and raised in Santa Maria the Azores, son of the late Manuel Bairos and survived by his mother, Maria (Luz) Freitas of Marlboro. He moved to Hudson from Santa Maria in 1969 and has resided here till his passing. He was employed as a machine operator for Alpha Wire and Cable Co. of Leominster for the past 38 years. Manuel enjoyed boating and fishing on Cape Cod and also camping at the Bourne Scenic Park. He was a member of the Hudson Portuguese Club.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters, Natercia Hanson and Lisa Percuoco and her husband Peter, all of Hudson; his 4 grandchildren, Zachary and Mariah Hanson, Lorenzo and Angelina Percuoco and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jose Luz Bairos and Anibal Freitas. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his family, friends and his beloved dog Buddy.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 1, at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St. Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Monday, June 30 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749

Maria, Natercia and Lisa,
Alpha Wire was very saddened to hear of the loss of one of our own. Manny may have been a man of few words, but each of us will hold special memories of him in our hearts.
