Colleen Aldrich Obituary
Mrs. Aldrich was born in Uxbridge on June 24, 1931, the daughter of the late James and Gladys (Richardson) Hickey and had been a resident of Uxbridge prior to moving to East Dennis 35 years ago. She was a graduate of Uxbridge High School, Class of 1949.
Mr. and Mrs. Aldrich observed their 50th wedding anniversary on October 19, 2007 and her children and grandchildren were her love.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Frederick J. and his wife Paula Aldrich, Jr. of Uxbridge; two daughters, Kim A. and her husband Stephen Hawkins of Tampa, FL, and Judith V. and her husband Seth Updegraff of E. Dennis; a sister, Carol Restivo of N. Providence, RI; five grandchildren including Stephen Hawkins, Corey Hawkins, Frederick Aldrich III, James Aldrich, and Patrick Aldrich; two godchildren, Linda (Restivo) Newman and Michael Kelliher; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 9 AM from the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St. (Rt. 122), Uxbridge, MA 01569 followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11 AM in St. Mary's Church, 71 Mendon St., Uxbridge. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 9-10:30 AM in the funeral home prior to the funeral Mass.

To Fred, Kim, Judy, and Joey,
Your Mom was so special to me. She was so good to us as kids and we had so much fun. I'm glad we got to grow up next to each other. I miss you all. She was a classy lady and will surely be missed. Take care. Sorry for your loss.
