Teresa R. Cahill

Teresa R. (Canty) Cahill, 84, of Amherst, NH passed away Thursday July 24, 2008 at Southern NH Medical Center after a brief illness.

Teresa was born in Webster, MA on December 10, 1923 a daughter of the late Patrick & Anna (McCaulay) Canty. She was the widow of William T. Cahill who died November 6, 1993.

Teresa was a registered nurse anesthetist, hemodialysis nurse at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, NJ and she was a member of the Nurse Cadet Corp. during WWII. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church. Teresa will be missed by her family and many friends.

Teresa is survived by; One son; James Cahill and his wife Doreen of Acton, MA Two daughters; Ann Conceison and her husband James of Amherst and Mary Stipe and her husband Scott of Merrimack Six grandchildren Two brothers; Ambrose Canty and his wife Mary of Southbridge, MA and Brendan Canty and his wife Monica of Dudley, MA. Also several nieces, nephews and cousins

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Monday July 28, 2008 from 6 to 9 PM in the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 KINSLEY ST, NASHUA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday July 29, 2008 in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CareNet Pregnancy Center of Nashua, 110 Main St., Nashua, NH 03060 or to the Corpus Christi Food Pantry, 43 Franklin St., Nashua, NH 03064.
