Deborah Rosa Obituary

Deborah K. (Kinsey) Rosa, 59, died Sunday at Leominster Hospital surrounded by her loving family, after being stricken ill at home.

She was born in Leominster on July 21, 1949, the daughter of Joseph and Genevieve Kinsey.

Deborah leaves her loving husband of 40 years, Dennis Rosa; a son, Scott and his wife Dawn (McGillivary) Rosa of Attleboro; and a daughter, Amy and her husband Paul Roux of Clinton; a sister Lisa LaPrade and her husband Mark of Leominster; four grandchildren and one grandchild on the way, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, mother and a brother.

She was a 1967 graduate of Leominster High School, she was the Chief Financial Officer for American Auto Body Repair Inc., and was Co-Owner of DJ's Discount Auto Body Supplies and Accessories. She loved politics and helped run her husband's political campaigns for over 20 years, and also assisted the candidates she supported for offices: locally, county, state, and nationally. She always said that Politics was her "Favorite Sport." There was no greater supporter to have if you were running for office. She enjoyed cooking and recently was active in a "Save St. Mary's Campaign" for St. Mary's Catholic Elementary School in Clinton and donated to that campaign. She loved fast cars and racing, and owned a collection of Mustangs with her husband Dennis. She always enjoyed racing at the Las Vegas Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Locally she supported many organizations and in particular was a big supporter for The Beacon Of Hope, and was a member of St. Leo's Parish and she was a notary public.

Her greatest joys in life came from her family. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and especially grandmother.

The Funeral will be held on Thursday from The Curley-Marchand Funeral Home, 89 West St., Leominster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Leo's Church, 108 Main St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster.

Calling Hours at the Funeral Home will be on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to: The Beacon of Hope, 62 West St., Leominster, MA 01453

We are so sorry to learn of your sad loss. Debbie's family and mine go back so many years with her Aunt Marguerite being my Aunt Mae's maid of honor in the early 1900's. The Kinsellas and Debbie and Lisa always attended Sunday Mass at St. Leos at the same time. Richard and I always enjoyed working with your Family doing Photographs. We are thinking of you all.
