Margaret Moran Obituary

Margaret E. Moran, 81, of Prospect Hill Rd., passed away on September 28, 2008 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Providence, RI on December 11, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Reginald W. and Mary R. (McComb) Farr. She has lived in Brimfield for 56 years and was a communicant of St. Christopher's Church. Margaret worked for over 20 years as a receptionist at Old Sturbridge Village.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bernard Moran and five children, Dennis Moran and his wife Sue of Three Rivers, Kevin Moran and his wife June of Warren, Brian Moran of Palmer, Timothy Moran of Brimfield and Charlene Moran of Auburn. She also leaves four siblings, Mary Baribeault of Charlton, Bertha Moran of Leicester, Robert Farr of Mesa, AZ and Mildred Moran of Arcadia, FL; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family invites friends to gather and "Remember Margaret" on Friday, October 3rd at 6 p.m at 98 Hollow Road in Brimfield, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Baystate Visiting Nurse & Hospice Association, 50 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01102. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
