Robert E. Christiansen

Robert E. Christiansen, 74, beloved father, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather; formerly of Worcester, MA., Indianapolis, IN., Rochester, MI., then retired to Delray Beach, FL. He went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2008 in Delray Beach. He was preceded in death by Beverly, his beloved wife of 54 years. He is survived by daughter, Susan of Rolla, Missouri with her husband James Huss, their children Renee Christiansen & Adriane Hendrix with husband Curtis & sons Skyler, Logen & Kayden; son, Robert E. Christiansen, Jr. of Fishers, Indiana with wife Lori and their sons Andrew & wife Sarah with children Lillian and Connor, William, Cody and Parker; daughter, Sandy Christiansen of Indianapolis, Indiana with daughter Lindsay and son JW along with his son Brylin and daughter Ashlyn; daughter, Gay of Delray Beach, Florida with husband Argenis Esteves with sons Maxx and Jesse. He is also survived by his brothers: Neil Christiansen of Miami, FL, Jack McDonnell of Berlin, MA, and Walt Christiansen of Detroit, MI.; and his sister, Barbara Gessner of Cape Cod, MA. Robert retired after 42 years with Acushnet Golf Company, parent company of Titleist Footjoy Worldwide. While with Titleist his territories included Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan. He was recognized as a master salesman and developed many lasting relationships in his field. He enjoyed playing golf when time allowed but his real passion was discussing the new technology emerging in the golf industry. Robert always took his time to talk to his friends and to be a friend to all he knew; he will be deeply missed by many. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, October 3, 2008 from 5:00-8:00pm at Babione Funeral Home, east chapel, 561-395-8787 in Boca Raton, FL.
