Mary Ethel Hoyt

Mary Ethel Hoyt, 84, of Westborough, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at the UMass Memorial Healthcare- University Campus in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Benjamin R. Hoyt who died on August 28, 2008.

Born in St. Mary's Bay, Newfoundland, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Frances (Dobbin) Corcoran. She was educated in St. Mary's Bay schools.

Mrs. Hoyt was employed as a printer for Chase Paper Co. retiring in 1984.

She is survived by one son, Robert F. Hoyt and his wife, Carol, of Westborough; two daughters, Margaret H. Anderson and her husband, Craig, of Westborough and Elizabeth A. Euloth and her fiancé, Russ Chute, of Grafton; two brothers, Hubert and Patrick Corcoran of Ontario; four sisters, Louise Kelley, Pauline Dovbin, Florence Doodie all of Newfoundland and Alfreda Marsden of Salisbury, MA; seven grandchildren, Julie Euloth, Mark Anderson, Ryan Euloth, Kayle Euloth, Laura Anderson, Colleen Hoyt and Meaghan Hoyt and many nieces and nephews.

She was a mother to all.

She was the sister of the late Mary Donnelly, Ronald Corcoran, David Corcoran, Christopher Corcoran, Madelin Dunphy, Geraldine St. Croix and Frances Jarvis.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4 at 11:00 A.M. in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Westborough.

Calling hours at the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church St., Westborough are Saturday from 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. prior to the graveside service.
