Maryodlin Trudeau Obituary
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Richard E. Trudeau; four sons: Brian Trudeau of Albany, NY, Robert Trudeau and his wife Kathleen of Rochdale, Scott Trudeau and his wife Paulette of Stow and Matthew Trudeau of Charlton; two daughters: Lisa Trudeau of Albany, NY and Louise Snyder and her husband Robert of Milford; one brother, James Day and his wife June of Walterboro, SC; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Day of Bristol, ME; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Lyman Day, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Odlin and Irene (Mason) Day and lived in Southbridge and Marlborough before moving to West Brookfield 39 years ago. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Southbridge.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and was active in the church choir and was the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine director for 24 years. She also was a member of the Adams-Coney-Frew Post 244 American Legion Women's Auxiliary and was very active with the Girl Scouts and 4-H for many years.
A Funeral Mass for Maryodlin will be held Monday, October 6, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in West Brookfield. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday, October 5, from 2 to 5 PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the VNACare Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608-1280 or to the West Brookfield Rescue Squad, Inc., P.O. Box 540, West Brookfield, MA01585
