Mary Donelan Obituary
Mary is survived by several cousins and her close friends, William and Joann McCullough of Westborough and their children, Rob and Shana.
Ms. Donelan was born in New Haven, Connecticut daughter of the late John and Josephine (Foley) Donelan and had lived in Shrewsbury for over 35 years. She graduated from Boston University with her Bachelors of Science and Master's Degree in Education. She also attended Clark University.
Mary was a faithful member of St. Anne's Parish and was active in the Shrewsbury Senior Center, the Shrewsbury Educational Association; Shrewsbury Chapter of AARP and was a former member of the Shrewsbury Women's Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mary's family on Tuesday, October 7th from 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will follow and be celebrated at 11:00 AM in Saint Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in the family lot at Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. Miss Donelan was one of Shrewsbury Hight School's finer teachers. I had her in Office Machines and also belonged to her SHOMTY club. She was indeed a true lady.

Ms. Donelan was my teacher in high school and I always remember as being professional and very fair. She was one of the best teachers that I had in high school. I will remember her fondly.

Miss Donelan was a teacher of mine at Shrewsbury High....She was a very good teacher and a lovely lady. I remember her to always treat her students with individuality and kindness....may she rest in Peace.
