Joseph Creighton Obituary
He is survived by four children James P. Creighton of Warrensburg, MO, Joseph "Joba" R. Creighton Jr. of Uxbridge, Barbara A. Romasco of Uxbridge, and Kevin T. Creighton of Whitinsville; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brothers Thomas E. Creighton of Uxbridge, and several nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his brothers Edward S. Creighton and Charles F. Creighton Sr. and his sister Mary Campopiano.
Born in Uxbridge, on Nov. 7, 1923, he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Bridget (Rice) Creighton and has lived in Uxbridge all of his life.
Mr. Creighton worked for the U.S Postal Service in Uxbridge for many years as a clerk and a carrier, before his retirement in 1979.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Charles A. Rice American Legion Post.
His funeral will be held on Tues. Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church 77 Mendon St. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Mon. Oct. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Joe's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
