Eileen A. Clark

Eileen A. (Kimball) Clark, 85, passed away October 5, 2008 after a long struggle with cancer. Her husband, Gordon L. Clark, passed in 2003. She is survived by her two children: Betty Jane Clark and Russell Clark, both of Grafton. She was born October 15, 1922 in Malden, MA and has lived in Grafton since 1948. Mrs. Clark graduated from Newport (ME) High School and Farmington (ME) Teachers College. She began a career as an elementary school teacher in Upton and then teaching in Grafton for many years until retiring. Mrs. Clark was a member of The Evangelical Congregational Church of Grafton where she also taught Sunday school and was in charge of The Circle Nursery School there. She was a member of The MA Teachers Association, enjoyed reading, knitting, was a Boston Red Sox fan and volunteered for The American Cancer Society for many years. Memorial donations may be made in her name to The Grafton Food Bank, 30 Providence Rd., Grafton, MA 01519 or The American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 in lieu of flowers.

Funeral & Calling Hours

Funeral services are Thursday, October 9th at 2 p.m in The Roney Funeral Home North Chapel, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. She will then be laid to rest with her husband in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, October 9th from 12 noon to 2 p.m before the funeral service. A condolence book and directions are available at:
