Joseph Belisle Obituary

Joseph A. Belisle, 79, of Miramar, FL, formerly of East Douglas, MA passed away on August 9, 2008 at home surrounded by family and friends. Joseph was a retired WWII and Korean War Veteran who earned 2 purple hearts, and was proud of his services to our country as a paratrooper in the 187th Airborne of the US Army.

He was born on May 29, 1929 to the late Rene and Anita (Ledger) Belisle.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Albina Belisle of Miramar, FL; brother, Rene Belisle of Sterling, MA; son, Ronald (Mindy) Belisle of Sunrise, FL; daughter, Albina M. Belisle of Springfield, MA; daughter, Bonnie (David) Lorenzini of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter Amy Blankenship and family of Florida; granddaughters, Rayna Marie Belisle of Sunrise, FL and Marina and Sofia Lorenzini of Pittsburgh, PA; nephew, Jeffrey Belisle of Sterling, MA. He is predeceased by his son Steven and his sisters Irene, Doris, and Pauline. We will always keep our eyes open, and we will never forget!

Graveside Service will be held Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 10:30 a.m at Hillside Cemetery, 65 Central Street, Auburn, MA 01501.
