Mary Sheard Obituary

Mary (Geoffredo) Sheard, 87, formerly of Keach Ave., passed away Tuesday, October 7. Her husband of 47 years, Lincoln F. Sheard passed away in 2001.

She leaves her son, Thomas G. and his wife, Maryann Sheard of Worcester and her daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Sheard of Webster. Her son, Michael H. Sheard passed away in 2000. She also leaves six grandchildren, five great grandchildren; three brothers, Domenic Ciuffredo of Worcester, Michael Ciuffredo of Millbury and Frank Ciuffredo of West Boylston; three sisters, Rose Erikson, Natalie Bird and Eva Atchue all of Worcester and many nieces and nephews. Her brother, Anthony Geoffredo and her sister, Fanny Maenzo predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Pasquale and Angela (Antinerella) Geoffredo. Mrs. Sheard worked as a seamstress at Robinson Thread for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church.

The funeral will be held Fri., Oct. 10, from LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St., with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. To place an on-line condolence, please visit
