To my dear, dear friend Joyce (Champa) Candela.
Meeting Joyce when we were 11 years old and in the 7th grade at St. Bernard's is some 53 years ago.
We shared much along the way. Same schooling, same friendships, etc. We shared many happy events and many sad events as friends.
I 'm saddened to hear of dear sweet Alice E. Suri's passing.
Her 99 years with us was a gift.
In my heart I know that Alice has gone home to be with her loved ones and God.
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family at this time.

I was very sorry to hear about Alice's death - she was my 1st grade teacher and I have fond memories of that experience. I know she was an avid bridge player and my mother always enjoyed playing bridge with her. This is a great loss for friends, family and the City of Fitchburg
