Regina Berthiaume Obituary

Regina M. (Mezynski) Berthiaume, 91, of 18 Monterey Drive in the Cherry Valley section of Leicester died Wednesday, Oct. 8 in the Meadows of Leicester after an illness. Her husband Albert E. Berthiaume died in 1988. She leaves two sons Robert A. Berthiaume of Irvine, CA and James "Jeff" Berthiaume and his wife Priscilla of Spencer, two brothers Vincent Mezynski of Worcester and Joseph Mezynski of Worcester, six grandchildren; Deanna, Debbie, Dorine, Donna, Jeffrey and Scott, four great-grandchildren; Wyatt, Riley, Joey and Matthew and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Berthiaume was born in Worcester daughter of Francis and Sophia (Pikulinska) Mezynski. She was a stitcher at David Clark Co. in Worcester retiring in 1972. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Senior Citizens Club of Leicester and was a longtime volunteer for F.I.S.H.

The funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 13 from MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1154 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 8:30-9:30 AM Monday preceding the Mass. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3300 East Sunrise Drive, Tucson, AZ 85718.
