Caroline Verdelli Obituary

Caroline Verdelli, 88, passed away on October 9, 2008.

She is survived by her sisters, Anne Smith of Grafton, Josephine Grimala of Millbury and Mathilda Timmes of Tampa, Florida. She also leaves several nieces. One sister, the late Dorothy Santora predeceased her. Carrie was born January 7, 1920 in Kingston, MA, the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Morelli) Verdelli, was raised in Worcester and lived there for many years. She also spent several years in Grafton before returning to Worcester where she was a resident at the Lutheran Healthcare Center. Carrie's family would like to express their thanks for the compassionate care she received there. Carrie enjoyed making crafts and her family will also remember her for her artistic talents that brought her great joy.

Carrie's funeral will be held Tuesday, October 14th from The Roney Funeral Home North Chapel, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton followed by the celebration of her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 17 Waterville St., North Grafton. She will then be laid to rest at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester. There are no calling hours. A condolence book and directions are available at:
