Michael Reno Obituary

Michael F. "Mickey" Reno, Sr., 68, of Worcester, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family after a short illness. He leaves his wife of 40 years, Maureen R. (Smith) Reno; his son, Michael Reno, Jr.; his daughter, Michele and her husband, Timothy Hutchings; his brother, Robert Reno and his wife, Anne and a sister, Sandra Garrepy all of Worcester. He also leaves five grandchildren: Zachary, Sydney, Colin, Hunter and Harper and many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Washington, D.C., the son of Wallace and Margaret (LeFebvre) Reno. Mickey worked for Standard Foundry for 30 years, before retiring in 1992. He was also a bartender for many years at area establishments.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 17 at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Flowers may be sent or donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
