Selma Kuppenheimer Obituary

Selma (Hauser) Kuppenheimer 96, of 10 Virginia Rd., died Tuesday, October 14th at her residence after a lengthy illness. Her husband of 38 years, John Kuppenheimer Sr., died in 1975. She leaves two sons: David Kuppenheimer of Newton and Robert Kuppenheimer and his wife Nancy of Corona Del Mar, CA. Her son, John Kuppenheimer Jr., predeceased her. She was born in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of Morris and Gertrude (Lowe) Hauser and graduated from Worcester State College. Selma was a kindergarten teacher at Heard Street and Flagg Street schools and retired many years ago. She was a resident of Worcester for 60 years. She was a member of Temple Sinai and the Massachusetts Teachers Association.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM TODAY, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16th in Perlman Funeral Home, 1026 Main Street. Memorial contributions may be made to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. (MSPCC) c/o Development Dept., 99 Summer Street, 6th Floor, Boston, MA 02110
