Isabel Jones Obituary

Isabel C. (Carr) Jones, 96, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008.

Her husband of 76 years, William R. Jones, died in 2006. She leaves a daughter, Sharon A. Harris and her husband Gerald of Worcester; a brother, David Carr of Delaware; three grandchildren, Steven R. Drew of Cherry Valley, Deborah A. Kelley of Dudley, and Kimberly L. Harney of Douglas; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Isabel was born in Worcester, daughter of Maude (Wilkinson) and Edward H. Carr. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Boylston and the Senior Citizens of Boylston.

Funeral Services will be held at the First Congregational Church of Boylston on Friday, Oct. 17, at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.  Calling Hours will be held at NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of Boylston, Ten Church St., Boylston, MA 01505.
