We are sorry to here about your loss. Bernie was a great person and truly an asset to the Town of Oxford. He used his position as the Chairman of the Conservation Comm to help the people get things done - not create more obstacles. We will miss him.

Bernie will always be fondly remembered as "The Mayor" at The Home Depot. His smile was always big, bold and bright. He seemed to know almost everyone that came into the store. Those he didn't know soon became his friends as he was always lending a helpful hand to all.
He was one of a kind and I feel truly lucky to have known him.

Bernie was a wonderful man and true friend. We were fortunate to spend time together when he went to the cape as our cottages were in the same little village. He never failed to lend a helping hand or an open ear to anyone. I referred to him as the gentle giant. He was a true friend

I only knew Bernie for the short time I worked for Lelanite. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor. To all his family, my sincere sympathy on your loss.
