Pastor Grajales Obituary
George is survived by his devoted wife and partner of more than 35 years, Carmen E. Arroyo; his seven cherished children: Zenaida Burgos, Rev. Merlly Otero; Daisy and Jessica Grajales and Felix Grajales all of Worcester, Francisco Otero of Springfield and George Grajales in Florida; his mother, Jovita Grajales; several brothers and sisters; 18 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; many nieces, nephews and extended family. George was born in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico, and lived in Worcester before moving to Florida last January.
Pastor worked as a Construction Steelworker for the AFL-CIO United Steelworkers Union.
He was a member of the Kingdom Life Christian Church. He enjoyed collecting and tinkering with cars. Most of all he enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20th at 11:30 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday, October 19th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Life Christian Church, P.O.Box 1012, Worcester, MA 01613.

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw Georgie’s loving face.
He put his arms around Georgie and lifted him to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that Georgie was suffering; he knew he was in pain.
And knew that Georgie would never get well on earth again.
He saw his path was difficult, he closed his tired eyes,
He whispered to Georgie "come home my son" and gave him wings to fly.
When we saw him sleeping so calm and free of pain,
we would not wish him back to earth to suffer once again.
Georgie left precious memories, his love will be your guide, and he will be by your side.
It broke our hearts to lose him, but Georgie did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called him home.

Entre la desesperación y tus recuerdos nos encontramos hoy envuelto en lágrimas.
La soledad es nuestra única aliada entre estas cuatro paredes que se han convertido en nuestro refugio de resentimientos.
